Choose multi-colored glassware to use for accents on your table? Clear crystal is lovely, but sometimes a bit of color is just whats needed to punch up your table setting and create a bit of excitement. Choose up to 3 different colors and alternate them or if you just want one color, say a accent of cobalt blue, black or smoke that's fine too! For the colors that will work best on your table just look around your dining room. Pick several colors, one from from your wallpaper , one from your rug and one from your dishes. This will insure that you have a color scheme that works fluidly throughout your entire table! If you don't want to use color, what about mixing pattern? Using different patterns of cut crystal on the table will break up the way your eye sees the settings , making your table sparkle and come alive ! Add some candlelight and you'll have a setting for your next dinner party that will be uniquely yours and so very beautiful!
I hope that you enjoy this fabulous video of one of the Murano Italy glassblowers. It's really an amazing treat to watch glassware being created still using this centuries old technique. I've been in many of these crystal factories and I'm always astonished. It makes owning even a small piece of handblown crystal a very special treat!
