In honor of St. Patricks Day let me introduce you to the Waterford "Apprentice" Bowl! This is the final test for all Waterford glass cutters who are in the 5 year apprentice program as it contains every cut that is used in the creation of any Piece of Waterford that you have ever seen. They are beautiful pieces and highly coveted. I am fortunate to own one that was my mothers, a cherished gift from my father that she got on a trip to Ireland taken when I was a child. I'll never forget that pilgrimage to the Waterford factory, it was a magical place filled with laughter, fire and plenty of cookies! This particular piece is part of their Heritage Collection and can still be purchased online at Bloomingdales.
